save on your electricity
1-throw a dry bath towel in with your load to be dried. In your tumble dryer
I found that this takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes off of
the drying time. This really adds up if you're washing and drying
every day.

Re: save on your electricity !
Our family are like you say "Daily Users", I will pass this onto the wife or even try it myself!! I hope it works ;D
Sometimes the daughters want something dried in a hurry, I guess the more dry towels placed in the drier would speed the drying of one or two items significantly :-/

Re: save on your electricity !
How does putting a dry towel speed up the drying process? I quite often put in just one or two items for work next day. Now the weather si improving it all be outside though - miles better smell.

I agree wholeheartedly with that comment, i hate pegging out washing, however i am forcing myself to do it to save a few pennies. I do give the washing 10 minutes in the tumble dryer though, just to soften the fibres up again.

Re: save on your electricity !
I try to put my washing out as much as possible, but this seems to be the cue for every ?@** to start bonfires, 'is it me' or does everyones neighbour wait for the best sunniest day we have in a long time to light a bonfire and put their fresh new green tree clippings and grass on to it so fouling up the whole neighbourhood. We have had bonfires but put ourselves out to do these late in the evening so everyone will have windows closed and no washing out. >
