  • This sparked fears that the big six would soon follow with a fresh round of hikes, the first since 2013, on its standard variable tariffs. However, last week SSE made the surprise announcement that it is freezing its standard gas and electricity prices until at least April 2017. Whether the remaining other big six suppliers will follow suit remains to be seen.

To be fair to E.on, whilst their other tariffs were withdrawn, their fixed 1 year V20 has now been available / hasn't changed since 10/02/16, that's 9 months.

Whilst expensive at the time of release, it's looking more appealing by the day, (until V21 is released.) :D

    I switched only 6 months ago. (Actually I didn't. I transferred tariffs :))
    Should I still switch NOW?
That way I could enjoy the higher prices and the early exit fees that apply the my existing tariffs :money:
