Hello, as part of a money makeover I am trying to find out if I am owed PPI. I believe I am a good contestant.
Basically in the past I had accounts/mortgages/ loans/credit cards and debt, with a lot of hard work I managed to pay my debts off ( apart from mortgage:o)
Most of the accounts are now closed and I ve got few details because I got rid of most of paperwork
Can anyone guide me, can it be done with help of a reputable company?
Thanks

Only use a claims company if you have too much time and money on your hands and want to reduce your chances of success. If so, just choose any of them.
If not, then you send off your complaint, giving you reasons for mis sale, to those companies who sold you PPI.0 -
A reputable CMC?
Try the Porcine Aerobatic Claims Management Company.0 -

So I guess I better write them myself.....0

All you have to do is make sure there is PPI and that you have reasons for mis sell.
You can contact the banks in question by telephone, they will send you a claims form.
It is as simple as that and will not cost you upwards of 25% plus Vat for a claims co.
If you need any help, just ask.0 -

What an odd thing to write. You're not a 'contestant', it's not a competition, there's no 'prize'. If you were mis-sold you may be able to claim some money back. You haven't said how or why you think you were mis-sold which, along with the way you phrased your question, makes me feel you're simply chancing your arm without anything to back it up.
Of course, I could be wrong...0 -

Apologies if my writing is not right, English is not my first language. I am not trying to win a prize, of course is not a competition!
For what is worth I've never claimed anything but I ve got reasons to believe I could claim some insurance back hence I needed some advice on how to go about it.
Thank you Taff's, I ll look on that link0 -
Thanks Amersall, looks like a need to make a few phone calls.....0
