Hi there

We're over for a concert but what else does it have to offer - (apart from shopping!!).

Any interesting places to have a wander and have a good old nosey?

It'll have to be walkable from around the city centre please.

Ta muchly

Walk to the Royal Armouries through The Calls and along the river, about 20 minutes from the station. If it is operating get the free river taxi service back to Granary Wharf, through Dark Arches back to the railway station.

The Doubletree Hotel in Granary Wharf has the Skylounge bar on the top floor giving views across the city.

Leeds City Museum in Millennium Square is free.

Thanks for that - that's a great start.

    Anymore options out there?
  • The Industrial Museum at Armley is worth a visit, and there's Temple Newsam and Kirkstall Abbey. The Corn Exchange and the arcades in the city centre are worth seeing. I can second the Royal Armouries, I spent about 6 hours looking around there.

http://letour.yorkshire.com/ this weekend, but it doesnt pass through the middle of Leeds.

There's a TUC Rally on Saturday https://www.tuc.org.uk/events/leeds-may-day-march-and-rally (but no march)
