    Why do journalists continue to be lazy and use the word "fines" ?

    It does a great disservice to those who know the difference and just confuses the general public.

    It is bad enough that PPC scum like to dress these invoices up as fines without the constant failure of people reporting events helping increase the confusion.

    There were several threads about this started this morning. It is not the RAC, it is an RAC charity called the RAC Foundation. So, MSE Helen is late to the party and hasn't quite got her facts right.

    I believe the reference is to do with the lateness in the day which this story has been "officially MSE" reported.

  • I expect MSE towers have to run the wording past the PPCs first if the post editing and deletion on the PPCs behalf is anything to go by.
