Round here SSE seem to do all the connections as apparently no one else wants to due to the often remote and difficult locations.0

Its not something you can really claim compensation on. Its the networks business not the supply business thats under investigationMore importantly, how can I claim compensation???
SSE have potentially boosted the costs they charge to suppliers (including themselves) to use their network by not allowing competition. Any extra cost would be passed on to consumers but as the issue is with the network and not the supply business, I guess your supplier would need to request compensation and then hand it over to their customers if they were impacted.
Per customer the impacts will be tiny, probably a few £'s per year.0 -
