In December Get into London Theatre do an annual sale which usually includes seats In January and February. I have got half priced top seats to see Wicked in February before. You have to keep an eye on the site and book quickly once the sale is live.

In regard to traonsport to London the cheapest train fares are rolled out about 12 weeks before travel so keep an eye out for that. Also sites like www.megabus.com do cheap coach seats from £1 from amny parts of the country if you keep an eye out nearer the time.

For hotels have a look at the budget hotels such as Travelodge and Premier Inn and Holiday Inn, book if you see a good rate. If you can avoid a Saturday night stay you will pay less as this is always the most expensive night. Just had a quick look and For example Thursday 5 and Friday 6 Feb Conty Hall Premier Inn is £89 and £69 per night for a double room.

Superbreak do some hotel deals and usually have a good cashback deal on Quidco/Topcashback (currently 9% on Quidco). Try the Tavistock hotel - usually under £100 per night including breakfast and for a two night stay they often provide one dinner as well. It's quite central - walking distance to Euston & Kings Cross. Bus goes straight down to Trafalgar Square or you can tube from Russell Square, Euston or Euston Square.


If you are travelling around a lot in London it may be worth pre-ordering an Oyster Card each - it's guaranteed not to cost any more per day than a one day travelcard but individual journeys are cheaper than you would pay at the ticket machine. Also it just makes life easier.
