I don't believe it is correct that P2P lending can be part of ISAs from July this year. All I have seen suggests it will be discussed later this year.0

Whilst the new bonds for pensioners are good news, I'm disappointed that there is nothing in this budget to protect 'hard working savers' from low rates. A reintroduction of the NS&I index linked bonds is well overdue and shame on the Tories for not including it.
Savers have been shockingly treated for 5 years, these token gestures are not going to make up for this. This will not win back my support and UKIP are having my vote instead, there are bigger issues needing addressing most importantly to get out of the EU, the only party with a genuine aim for the UK to do this are UKIP. The tories just forever dangle the carrot in front of us and the Labour and Lib Dems are a complete waste of space.
Also, they are still pressing ahead with the madness that is Help to Buy (votes) Immoral interference in free markets0 -
Seems you have missed vast swathes of today's budget such as the NISA and the pensions reform. Getting a good deal isn't all about interest rates, and the UK isn't just about "hard working savers", it's also about people with mortgages. You need to strike a balance that is fair across the age groups.0

£30k a year into tax free savings for a couple is a massive amount of money and I can't imagine there are many hard working savers that would ever be able to afford that but it is great news on both that and the pension changes.
For once the end of budget surprise was worth the wait!Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
