Another 81 branches hardly indicates they're rushing to offer these products. 110 out of 11,500 branches. Most people will be waiting a very long time.

Isn't this really just a selection of specially invented Bank of Ireland current accounts available via selected post offices?

Post office functionality has been a feature of an increasing number of current accounts for a while - and that's all 11,500 post offices, not just a few. Plenty of other banks allow deposits, withdrawals, balance enquiries etc at the post office. What exactly do these accounts offer at the post office counter that others don't? I must be missing something, or is this entirely a branding thing?

    You're not missing anything.
None of the accounts are particularly competitive that I can see either.

This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
