Good news for the price rounded down items, but don't forget you can still get items such as a bottle of bleach elsewhere for about 75p http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=257335642Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Seems a bit pathetic to undercut each other by 1p.0

I would not walk into a shop, look at the price and think I could get that 1p cheaper down the road..0

They are breaking up my masterplan of creating a retail monster called "95 planet" where everything will be 95p :P0

These shops are opposite each other., so no hardship to pop between the two Plus next to Poundland is another shop called Yippee 99p, whose answer to the pricewar is to offer a free drink in their cafe (yes, everythings 99p in the cafe too)0 -
The new 99p store in Ipswich is huge with wide aisle ,great if you have a pushchair or wheelchair very easy to get around.
If you want to save money they also sell a lot of food
Long may then price war lastTo create more positive results in your life, replace
'IF ONLY' with next time0 -
I happened to visit all 3 while in Ipswich today.
Not overly impressed by the new 99p shop, they do have a good range of food though.
SA told me in Poundland prices are going back to £1 next week.
I did notice Poundland have smartened up again, they seem to do this with each new 99p shop that opens.
I think the spring will be good with lots of bargain garden stuff.
I've tried both alternatives but it's still Poundland for me.0 -

How could that possibly be pathetic?I would not walk into a shop, look at the price and think I could get that 1p cheaper down the road..
Nor would I. I would however go directly to the shop that does it 1p cheaper next time I am after that item.0
