It offers UK customers very little more than they have now. With Flight Plus already in place, it does extend protection to those who buy ferry/rail or car hire plus accommodation when not sold as a package but it still leaves those who buy separate items with the real risks that they have no protection against a bad holiday and the seller does not have to accept responsibility for health and safety. It therefore provides very, very little to UK holidaymakers, it may offer more to those buying overseas but that is not our concern. A real damp squib after four years of consultations....0
