Well three weeks later all I can say is HELP:mad::mad::mad::mad:
I had cancer last year got the all clear so I am not expecting to get it and die from cancer in the 7 days I am away. Blood pressure while this is the silent killer so insurance is needed. I have been quoted with out both and I have asked for policy wording and what is classed as direct or indirect related when not insured for both. I have been told its under the insurers discretion. Yeah ok that means what ever you have we will say its connected to me. So I can not help think that doesn't leave a lot to get insured for maybe a broken leg or too but wouldn't that be covered by my E1 11. So to confuse matters more what do I need insurance for. I have googled, researched, used searched engine and read till I have fallen asleep. I reckon I need a holiday from the stress of trying to get insurance. I have been quoted a price that was more than my airflight lol think the question is really risk it or not ?? Any help would be great thank you x

If you are travelling within the EU you may want to try EHIC Extra.
Their premiums are a lot lower than other insurance companies, especially for pre existing conditions.
They don't pay your hospital bill, the EHIC card takes care of that. But they cover the rest, such as cancellation, lost baggage and getting an air ambulance home.

The EHIC card doesn't necessarily cover all your medical expenses but it would cover any recurrence of pre existing conditions whilst away.0

Thanks guys I have tired to go on the ehicextra site but it wont let me drop down the destination box and is saying you need at least one person when you put in individual anyway I googled and got Ehic plus and got a good quote. Does anyone know if these are ok. Saying that I am still waiting for my Ehic card to come back after 3 weeks when I changed my name.0

If your HBP has been stable for the past 12 months with no change in medication, https://www.eta.co.uk should cover that. You can call them on an 0800 number for clarification.0
