What is an EMP (to do with DLA) please?

My friend who is awaiting her second ATOS visit, was sent a copy of a memo from the DCS, which mentioned that they had tried to obtain a more up to date GPFR, which I assume stand for a GP something Report, and that they'd have to get an EMP instead.
Does anyone have any idea please, what this means? TIA

It's a GP's Factual Reports (GPFR) Examining Medical Practitioner (EMP), you need to kick up and do so quick as instead of taking the report of the person who treats you, your GP. They will take the work of the ATOS Lap Dog.0 -

I found the EMP - actually a doctor - who was asked to visit me friendly, the report as accurate as could reasonably be expected in the timescale that was available, and the problems of a varying condition.
Is this always the case - probably not.
Having said that, I do echo the comments on poking your doctor to get them to complete the form urgently, if they are aware of your condition.0 -
I know my friend, for whom this applies (I posted about her before, re her first ATOS visit), has phoned her surgery frequently, to no avail.
Her first ATOS report contained some true facts, for example she couldn't dress or bath herself, and some false info, eg she could prepare and cook a meal for herself - she can't.
But when the Dreaded Letter arrived from DWP, it stated that she was able to wash, dress and cook for herself! Because she made phone calls, and I wrote letters for her, her case was looked at again, and it was agreed there were "some anomalies", hence the second ATOS visit.
I thought she'd asked to see the report whilst the doctor was still in her home, on the first visit (I was out of the room), but apparently she hadn't. She said she didn't like to ask!!!!
The next time, I'll ensure she asks to see the report before the doctor leaves, thereby avoiding any more anomalies.
May I thank everyone for all the help they've given Marion, who is now feeling slightly more hopeful that her DLA will be reinstated. She was on HRC and LRM until the ATOS medical, when everything was terminated.
