E.on Bill Not my but Defaulted Account. E.oN Wont Help!!!

Regardless it's a third party dispute. End of the day there is one meter in the property, how that bill gets paid no supplier is bothered - as long as it is.

This happens on such a regular basis , and it shouldn't fall down to the utility company to chase after your friends decision , you BOTH took responsibly but one of you naffed off. It still has to be paid.

It's a civil matter - all you can do is try to take to a small claims court. If you go with money claim online it's about £30 to register it.

You can argue with eon or your supplier till your blue in the face but what they are doing isn't wrong. It's a life lesson - do not trust people to share.
People seem to think that electric is a god given right and utility companies should bend over backwards , never get paid but still supply electric.

I think that's what people forget sometimes , you all sit moaning and moaning how you feel hard done to when in fact you've probably not paid them in ages and owe loads of money. You should PLAN money to be paid for utilities and budget accordingly and not wait till someone clears off!
