Seller seems a bit dodgy - Can I avoid paying?

Have you ever tried to send a combined invoice? PFFTT, It is very confusing making sure the correct minus or addition symbol is inserted inside brackets , and having to check the preview button before it's sent, which I once didnt do, and it added the fee ON that I was trying to subtract. ARGHH
Well, I found it tricky , if that is still the same way you manually adjust it, so if you are elderly or just new to ebay in general, that invoice page is mightily confusing !0 -

This happened to my OH, too, a few times. Ebay don't like making things simple! :rotfl:0 -
If you pay for the items individually, they should be sent separately as well.
The £9.50 on the invoice is, as mentioned above, one of the weird ways eBay invoices work (you try and combine postage/items etc. onto one invoice or reduce the postage amount and it adds the figure to the original amount)
The seller wasn't trying to rip you off, just didn't do it correctly.
Pay them and enjoy your DVD's...0 -
I'd feel a bit uneasy...because
I once BIN for an item that was £60. Received an invoice for £120, pointed out the error and requested another invoice - the next one was also for £120. So I emailed them again & got a reply 'oops, sorry, was in a rush, pressed the wrong button obviously, lol'
Next invoice was for £60. Paid via paypal, never got the item, opened INR and it was found in my favour, but no refund as the seller had cleared their paypal account, and gone AWOL. sigh
You takes your chances with ebay I think. There are many honest sellers, but amongst them are some dodgy ones IMO0 -

You are about 6 -7 years out of date with your story. All transactions with eligible items both on and off ebay are subject to paypal buyer protection- it makes no difference at all whether the seller has withdrawn the money or not..
