eBay item not received

Hi all basically eBay item not received, the tracking states it was delivered via uk mail on the 2nd and signed for in someone else's name, I was in most of the day except the school run and no parcel was delivered at the time stated on the tracking. I have tried contacting uk mail and just spend time on hold! The seller just keeps saying its been delivered so I opened a case on eBay, seller has uploaded tracking details and iv had no other contact from him :-( so I'm guessing it's going to come to ebays decision however as tracking states delivered anyone know where I stand?

    Ebay SHOULD back the seller.

    Now and again they refund from their own pocket.

    Normall sellers deal with the courier - but in this case you will have to challenge them.

    Have you checked outside? Sometimes they dump them and sign themselves. Ive just returned and my neighbour had my item - but no card was left.

    Iv checked everywhere I can think outside out of options rly lol, still waiting for uk mail to respond to my email!
