The usual why announce diesel and petrol price cut together when you get two shouts at press attention if you separate them.

Same as the Gas and Electricity announcements.

I still long for the days of under £1 per litre, but I doubt that will ever happen :rotfl:

Morrisons will also cut diesel prices again, by up to a 1p per litre...

Asda says motorists will pay no more than 133.7p per litre for unleaded and no more than 137.7p per litre for diesel at its pumps.

Yesterday, our local Morrisons were charging 139.9p per litre for diesel, whilst Asda, as they say, were charging 137.7p

So even with a 1p reduction, Morrisons will still be more expensive

Morrisons unleaded was 135.9p per litre.
Only last week, all four supermarket giants cut diesel prices at their forecourts by up to 2p per litre
Up to being the optimum words!

Around us, only Asda reduced the price of their diesel by 2p per litre, the other supermarkets by 1p per litre.

Morrisons and Tesco were charging 1p per litre more than Sainsburys and Asda (well 1.2p per litre more than Asda to be entirely correct) before last weeks price change, so now they are 2p per litre more unless they reduce their prices again. (Sainsburys is 1p more per litre)
