avoiding fee for not trading shares with barclays

hi . i have bank shares which i purchased through barclays.
they charge me a fee for holding the shares, £14.00 per quarter if i dont trade.
as i dont trade the shares how can i get the shares into an account where there is no fee or simply get hold of the share certificates.

you can ask barclays to "rematerialize" your shares, i.e. convert them into certificated shares. there will probably be a 1-off charge, once for each different bank share.0

Or you can invest additional money and buy one share per quarter.0
