Default Benefit, Pension and Tax Credit payments over Christmas / New Year period

For people in receipt of benefits (including Child Benefit), State Pension, Pension Credit and Tax Credits these are the payment dates for the Christmas and New Year period:

Benefits and Pensions (except Child Benefit)

https://www.gov.uk/how-to-have-your-benefits-paid

Child Benefit

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childbenefit/...k-holidays.htm

Tax Credits

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/pa...k-holidays.htm

For tax credits, payments due on the 27th are paid on the 24th and payments due on 2 January 2013 are paid on December 31 2012.

If your payment is due on any date not listed above then it will be paid on the date it is due.

I'm not sure but I was expecting WPA (classed as pension) on Boxing Day and it arrived today.
