Benefit, Pension and Tax Credit payments over Christmas / New Year period 18th Dec 12 at 11:24 AM
For people in receipt of benefits (including Child Benefit), State Pension, Pension Credit and Tax Credits these are the payment dates for the Christmas and New Year period:

Benefits and Pensions (except Child Benefit)

    https://www.gov.uk/how-to-have-your-benefits-paid

    Child Benefit

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childbenefit/payments-entitlements/payments/bank-holidays.htm

    Tax Credits

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/payments-entitlement/payments/bank-holidays.htm

For tax credits, payments due on the 27th are paid on the 24th and payments due on 2 January 2013 are paid on December 31 2012.

If your payment is due on any date not listed above then it will be paid on the date it is due.
