Anyone on a fixed rate deal is not affected for the duration of their term.

Hasn't MSE Martin been banging the drum since August to grab a cheap fixed deal? I know I did.

I don't think Ovo have increased their prices have they? (although their variable rates are only available to customers who've been with them at least 12 months and are more expensive than their fixed rate tariff anyway)

Remember the co-op reduction is a reversal of a quite recent increase that was not justified anyway.

First Utility also not included in the list.

Jut been reading a thread (not verified) that suggests they haven't announced any recent price increases either.

Ovo have changed their fixed-rate prices at least three times in the past year. Over this year, fixed-rate gas is up 17% and fixed-rate electricity is up 9.9% January - October. That's going to be a hefty increase by the time my contract ends - even assuming they don't change them again in the meantime.

A table of percentage price rises (or cuts) is utterly meaningless without knowing how the original prices compare.... It's easy for the Co-Op to cut prices if they've been charging more than everyone else anyway!

    Stop having babies!

At 7% increase per year, by the time they grow up, they will never be able to afford heating, or anything else.
