How it works
Each working day (Monday – Friday), from Monday 3 until Friday 21 December we’re going to be posting a visual puzzle online, to test your powers of brand recognition. We will be taking a well known logo, chopping a bit out of it, and asking you to tell us which company, product or organisation it belongs to.
There’s a (small, edible) prize to be one every day, plus three other ‘Grand Prizes’ awarded at the end of the Quiz. The rules are quite simple. If you want to win cars, holidays or iPads, you’re in the wring place. If you want to have a bit of festive fun… Come and join us!
How to play
• Each day we’ll post the day’s logo on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/AlderandAlder. We’ll also a link from our Twitter account: @AlderandAlder.
• If you can identify who it belongs to, email studio@alderandalder.co.uk
• Only answers that are emailed will be accepted. Any answers that are tweeted or posted on Facebook will be disqualified.
• It’s that simple!
How to win
There are four ways you can win, a daily prize and three ‘Grand Prizes’.
Daily winners: The first answer we receive at studio@alderandalder.co.uk is the day’s winner – our Advent Quiz Whizz. You’ll be posted a small, edible prize.
Grand Prizes:
The first Grand Prize is awarded to the individual who has achieved the most daily wins. They are crowned Advent Quiz Whizz 2012. In the event of it being a tie, we’ll pick a name from a hat.
The second Grand Prize is awarded to the person who has clocked up the most correct answers, during the Quiz. It doesn’t matter whether it was the first or last answer we received that day. As long as it’s right, it counts, the answers just need to reach us before midnight on the day of posting. This prize rewards stamina, rather than speed. Again, in the event of it being a tie, we’ll pick a name from a hat.
The third Grand Prize… well, we’re keeping this a secret, for the time being. We’ll announce how you can win it in the last week of the competition.
What you win
The daily winners will get something edible, and easy to post. Your main reward is the adulation of your peers and the Advent Quiz community.
The winners of the Grand Prizes will receive something special, something that reflects their level of achievement. We’ll reveal the details soon!
