Terms and Conditions
This Competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over.
This Competition is not open to employees of HostelBookers, their family members, HostelBookers’ agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
The competition will run daily from Thursday 1st December 2012, 00:00 GMT until Saturday 24th December 2012, 23:59 GMT.
Participants enter the competition by submitting the correct answer, their full name and their email address in the form provided on our Facebook page.
Any entries received or processed after the closing date and time will not be accepted. By entering the competition the participant agrees to participate in such promotional activity, including automatic subscription to our newsletter.
No responsibility is taken for entries which are lost, delayed or misdirected, or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
Only one entry per day is allowed per person.
A draw will be used to choose the winners at random. Draws will be made Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays at 10.00 GMT.
The winners will be notified via email within 7 days of the draw. Once the prizes have been claimed, the winners will be announced on the HostelBookers competition blog post.
The winners will be required to provide postal address and contact number. All information provided by participants is collected by HostelBookers and not Facebook. The usual privacy policy terms of HostelBookers apply to all personal information we gather.
If HostelBookers cannot contact the winners within fourteen days of the prize draw HostelBookers reserves the right to conduct another prize draw to determine a new winner.
The prizes must be taken by the prize winner and may not be transferred to or taken by any third party. No cash or other alternatives are available to the prizes.
Prizes will be sent out by the 31st January 2013.
Accommodation stays must be up to a maximum value of £200, must be booked by the 31st of January 2013 and must be completed no later than the 30th June 2013. All accommodation stays are subject to availability.
InterRail/Eurail tickets must be up to a maximum value of £500, Round The World tickets must be up to a maximum of £1,000 and flight tickets must be up to a maximum of £300. Round The World tickets and flights need to be purchased by the winner and HostelBookers will reimburse the cost using PayPal. Winners will need to have an active PayPal account.
InterRail/Eurail ticket winners will be required to provide title, full name, country of residence, date of birth, identity card/passport number, email address, full shipping address, contact number and date of first day of travel. InterRail/Eurail tickets must be booked before the 31st December 2013. Loss and Theft Cover and Travel insurance is not included in the InterRail/Eurail tickets and it is the prize winners' responsibility to arrange suitable cover for their needs. For the purpose of this competition, pasport number or identity card number will be collected and will be used to purchase your rail tickets, we will not pass this information onto any third party and the information will be distroyed once tickets has been purchased.
Travel insurance is not included in the prizes and it is the prize winners responsibility to arrange suitable cover for their needs.
HostelBookers reserve the right to refuse entry to participants.

By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and those imposed by the other suppliers involved in this competition.
HostelBookers act as a booking agent on behalf of our Supplier(s). We do not operate any of the services ourselves. For all bookings your contract will be with the Supplier(s) concerned. The suppliers booking conditions will apply to your contract and details can be obtained on request.
