Well my view is there is not too much to worry about until "nothing to worry about" articles start. Which have now started.

Makes the £2 credit card booking fee seem well worth it.

I have every faith in the new owner(s) honouring any bookings. I also have every faith in Travelodge failing to transfer them.

As long as you spend over £100 per person. :)
  • Oh what a surprise another one overstretched itself with debt.
Travelodge have just finished a new hotel in Loughborough, but there is no parking allowed at the hotel (except for 2 Blue Badge Disabled Bays) they have negotiated deals on the local car parks (but what traveller is going to have to walk in the rain from the car park over a main road through the town centre to get to the hotel?) The lovely looking shops at the bottom of it shown in the hoarding as it was erected, are all still boarded up with lovely black hoarding wood.

We locals said it should never have been built there in the first place, was there not anyone from Travelodge that looked at the building next door that is still trying to let retail units themselves for many years with no success? We were told that they were building there for the Olympics people, who would all come to Loughborough...... What people? all the olympic teams went to the Uni and stayed on there..... so are we surprised Travelodge is now in trouble?
