Refund advice on opened goods. THANKS!!!

Hello,

I sold a DSLR camera on ebay for about £300. Its new and sealed, the buyer thought they could do video recording on it but since opening it up and trying it out, realised they couldn't. I listed it properly and there is no mention of video. They now want a full refund, but when I get the camera back I will have to resell it as used. Am I expectd to give a refund? What would you do?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would go for New Other.

If you are a business, then I would say yes, they have the right to inspect the goods and change their minds. Especially if a BIN listing.

If you're not, what returns policy did you have on the listing?

At least if you willingly offer a refund you should hopefully get a camera back that should be in "as new" condition and could be resold at a reasonable price.

Refuse a refund and the buyer may well "find" a fault on the camera and return it as SNAD, leaving you with a potentially worthless item,
