Morning Leon,
There are 3 agencies. Don't worry too much about the score but lets start checking whats right and not right.
Are you on the electoral roll and listed on your report?
Are all accounts there?
Have you any defaults?
How long have you lived at your address and how old are you?
LBM Nov 2011, Amount owed £14,258.67, £1,977.81 now owed, £12,280.86 paid off 86.13%
No 149: Debt free for Christmas 2012 Cleared Next, Wonga, Phoneix, Family loan, Vanquis, Aqua, Everyday. Still to clear Barclaycard, Capital one, & FD loan Just under 2050 days till I'm a normal person with a normal file

Are you on the electoral roll and listed on your report?
Yes it is
Are all accounts there?
Yes I believe so, however previous companies I've paid off (e.g Orange aren't)
Have you any defaults?
No, have missed payments in the past but never defaulted, have had some 'payment arrangements' set up, but always kept my side of the bargain.
How long have you lived at your address and how old are you?
Say 15 years? 29........ 30 in two weeks :-S

Mine is the same, only a couple of late payments from last year, on the electoral roll, all should be fine...
Yet 1/5 :/
Life is too short not to love what you do.

Expect any old debts to re-surface from new debt collectors.

Wouldn't worry these things age with time.
I'm clearing debts off with 33 lates on my file the most recent in January due to going over my overdraft! (Yes overdraft see hsbc & First direct they report going over you overdraft as a late) and my mine started at 375 in dec now up to 415.
The words slowly and monkey come in here!

The thing is on this 'Noodle' file every payment is green and paid on time?
Even the late payments on the new loan aren't marked red?

Very lucky, though noodle is only one of three agencies they may not have reported the lates to noodle may experian or equinox.
As regards the chasing of dents. Somehow debt companies see win you log into view your credit file so if you have any old unpaid debt the debt collection agencies may start following this up with you and start to chase any old outstanding debts.

Doesn't matter what colour late payments are marked in, they will still affect your credit rating. Probably why it's 1/5.

So whats the difference between a two and a one?
Just extra late payments in a one?
Presume zero is the lowest?

A very very crude and inaccurate guide. Honestly, I wouldn't put any stock in what X/5 rating you get on Noddle.
The important thing is that the factual info on the report is correct. Noddle is very useful for checking that. Anything else, not really......

I had an incorrect "late payment" on my Noddle file (and they rated me 2/5). It was the credit card's fault and they agreed to correct my credit file, which they say they did (on all three agencies). But my Noddle report hasn't been updated for the last two months. Noddle say they update the report every 30 days. Has anyone else found that their Noddle report hasn't been updating properly?

Mine's been updating fine as far as I can see. I have green markers for March and I updated my Noddle report on the 17th March.
The card company are probably blagging you.

Hi Gordon,
Thanks for your reply. When you say "I updated my Noddle report" do you mean you have to do something to update it (other than just logging in)? Doesn't it get updated by itself?

I don't think so. When I looked at my Noddle report a few days ago it said "last updated 31/1/2012". I then queried it with Noddle and they replied that Noddle gets updated every 30 days. But then why is my data 60 days old? Now I've just looked at it again, and it has been updated! I don't know if that was because the Noddle support staff updated it for me following my query. Am I missing something?
(By the way, now I can see that the credit card company really has corrected my data and I have a green marker instead of an amber one. Consequently, my Noddle credit score went from 2/5 to 3/5.)
