Don't fall for the price drop! Buy the new one!
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

£70 on the lowest memory spec....if you're going to shell out that amount of money and 'only' save that on the iPad2, you'd be as well forking out for the new iPad - which of course is exactly what apple are hoping. Then you'll have the latest and greatest.....until next year

You got to hand it to Apple how good they are at marketing. They tend to drip feed the Apple fanboys just enough to make them want latest gadget. Fair enough this version seems a much more of an upgrade than previous incarnations.
  • Any news on a rebate for recent Ipad2 purchasers?

Bought mine from PC World last week. I know in the past Apple have offered to refund the difference when they have dropped prices.

    Anyone else in my position?

Am I the only person without a single Apple product?

There are better and cheaper products out there that do the same thing, according to review sites

I don't have have one, just because they are so expensive. Plus, gadgets like these (maybe not Apple as they price fix all their products) i.e laptops, computers, tvs always come down in price over the year.

Is it just me, but does anyone else find it annoying how Apple price fixes it's products and never allows a distributor i.e Tesco or Argos to offer discounts

Strictly speaking I don't own any either. My two older sons both have Ipods (against my will but they bought them with their own birthday money) but other than that, we're an Apple-free family! :rotfl:
