Spill the beans... on what makes you as a mum feel special [IMGRIGHT]http://images.moneysavingexpert.com/images/spillthebeans2.gif[/IMGRIGHT]
Mothering Sunday's all about making mums feel special. So if you're a mum, we'd love to know what FREE things would make you feel special this weekend. Hopefully your tales can inspire those with little cash to give maximum joy.

A cliche I know, but a handmade card really is the most special thing from a little one. I've kept every card mine have made me, but honestly would be hard pressed to tell you what presents OH has bought me on their behalf.
My youngest 'hid' mine under my pillow last year about three days before the big day. I was tipped off because he said 'promise you won't look under your pillow until Sunday', and was bubbling over with excitement. He checked I hadn't peeked every morning.0 -
Just giving time without 'can't stay long/ gotta get back for/sorry I'm late etc etc.
Giving time generously seems too much to ask of one's offspring even tho you still give it to them when they need/want.

I'd like someone else to cook the lunch! We usually have my own Mum over for the day so I have the dilemma of wanting my kids to spoil me but at the same time needing to something for my own Mum. I usually end up still spending hours in the kitchen (tho I don't need to do the washing up!)£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

If the family could do all my chores for a day - once every week would be fair - I could get a real day off like men do!

A pamper party: have my nails painted and my hair coloured.
In return for which I promise to : mend seams, sew on buttons, remove 80% of stains, and babysit - for another year.0
