What do they mean when they refer in the article to house prices "moving sideways"?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Can't wait for their average price to fall below £160k, house prices are still very overvalued. They have a long way to fall yet and set to continue falling.

Minor ups and downs, but basically stagnation.

Prices fell 0.2% last month but are still 0.6% higher than they were a year ago.

Stagnation has been the case for some time, with no sign of it changing.

I would welcome that but I just don't think this big crash is going to happen like so many hope. We are approaching a second recession and yet still prices are pretty much static.

I think all those people sitting around waiting for rapid double digit price falls are going to be sorely disappointed.

Didnt you predict a 50% fall in house prices by Christmas 2009? Are you still holding out for that??

    :p

Seriously though, you claim to live in Chelsea.

How much have house prices fallen around your way over the past couple of years?

    CLUE: They haven't
