The biggest problem is the amount of tax we have to pay on top of the cost of petrol.0

Ive always been a cynic when it's came to aid. Aid rarely gets to the majority of the population, and if Western governments wanted this, they would put in more measures in place to make sure it gets to the population. To me, aid is more like a bribe and is destroying some countries (ie: Pakistan), but this is not the issue here.
The issue is the price of petrol being increased, and not being increased because of what the market is dictating but because of government policy.
We pay some of the highest rates in Europe for our fuel0
