First steps London

What are peoples views on this scehem. I am of mixed minds, i think it is good as you can get a property thats value is more than you can get a mortgage for. However i dont know if the prices are inflated and how easy it is to sell on.
Help appreciated

It looks like a useful scheme for people in specific/niche circumstances.

When I joined MSE forums I wanted to get a part buy/part rent with as small deposit as possible, I am now of the opinion I should personally avoid this avenue as much as I can and spend longer saving a decent deposit so I can buy outright (at least thats the plan!).

If you look on various threads there are endless debates about such schemes and whether they are "scams" or not. Basically they are not scams and can help some individuals in some circumstances, however some are poorly advertised and pull people into buying over-priced property, it really depends on your circumstances. Sorry about the wooly answer!

    Good Luck!
