Hi all,
Banks have lost a crucial High Court judicial review into the future of payment protection insurance (PPI) reclaiming today. See news story.
We have lots of media requests for people whose claims have been held up by their bank due to the court case.
If this is you and you are happy to tell your story to the press, so that we can spread the message about about PPI reclaiming, please e-mail casestudy@moneysavingexpert.com (sorry but we can't answer questions at this email address) with as much of the following info as you can:
* how much was your loan
* who was your lender
* a daytime phone number - we often need to reach people at very short notice
* whether you are happy to appear in the papers, tv or both
* where you live
* did you use our template letters
* how far have you taken your complaint, eg, stopped at the bank or waiting at the Ombusdman / claims handler
Also, if you can email a scanned copy of a 'hold' letter from your bank this would be great (don't worry if this is tricky!)
We really appreciate anyone that can help us with this but of course also please report your story below.
Thanks, Wendy

My case with FOS is still ongoing from 15 Feb 2010. I am no further forward than when I started. Its all very well getting letters saying we are writing to give you an update on the progress, when in reality nothing has happened.
My last correspondence indicates that PPI is not within FOS jurisdiction so they are now trying to consider the complaint with the underwriters. It is now being review again.
Fingers crossed since this new update I may get a "quicker response".0
