Grr! We couldn't start the switch until today when we completed on our house purchase, now quidco/topcashback £80 extra cashback has vanished :-( will have to crunch the numbers again to see if a switch to EDF is worth it or whether we are better off with someone who doesn't charge extra for IGT gas.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0

Yes saw Cash Back had gone on TCB, must be costing them to much, or they have reached the number of new customers required!0

Try BG or SSE/Ebico, they are I believe the only 2 that don't charge IGT0 -
A good deal for the customer means a bad deal for the supplier.
It's just rather bad form to extend the £100 Welcome Bonus to 31st December, then pulling it now.0 -
I'm happy, I got a letter from EDF recently saying they aren't increasing their prices. Makes a change!0

I suppose that the real end date for this was 30 November and so even a one week extension was more than they had to do.
Hopefully people won't be too dismayed as it isn't that brilliant a deal when you look at the standing charges on this. Let's just say I need both the £80 Quidco and £100 EDF cashbacks to make it worthwhile.
And they WILL be increasing charges come March.....0 -

the average price increase will be in the region of 8 to 10% i suspect, as with other suppliers.
the £100 will in most circumstances compensate for that rise (average bill is estimated at £1000) so effectively no price rise for 12 months.0 -
The Standing charge is excessive but they are the second cheapest before cashback. Anyone know when the £100 will be credited to my account ?His Heart Proved He Was A RedSuarez, SuarezWe Bought The Lad From AmsterdamWe Know He's Not a Chelsea Fan.Fernando Torres = El Judas0

For me the cashback had to be both the £100 and the £80 for it to be worthwhile. It looks like many will have to put in enquiries for the quidco £80 as they have a tracking issue.0

we changed to EDF 2 weeks ago through QUIDCO,the £80 is showing but I haven't heard a thing from the new supplier,is this normal, thought we should have at least had a email from EDF?0
