How many years back can you claim ppi

Hi,

My question is pretty much covered in the thread title, but I have CC that I took out in the early 2000's and I'm wondering if I can look into the PPI? I know on two of them they were done in a shop and the girl just wanted to hit her target?

Many thanks and sorry if this has been answered somewhere else?

    Hi there.;)

If you have reasons for being mis sold then give it a go, you write to the ones who arranged and sold you the finance, and they have 8 weeks in full to respond, keep at them.
More on the link below and ask for help anytime as well, good luck.

Hi, as this was in the year 2000 and a shop that sold you the PPI I doubt that they would have been covered by the FSA (regulations began 14th Jan 2005) OR the GISC either BUT if you have no joy this way then you can always try direct with the insurer if all else fails. Just another view here.
