    All sorted now. :)

[STRIKE]Not a corrupt link, as I checked by going through competitions and clicking on the Summer Special edition of That's Life.

I've logged on and posted a comment regarding this. We shall hopefully see results soon...[/STRIKE]

can i query the answer to page 38, puzzle 7. i have already entered the answers but printed them out for my mother. however, she had bought the magazine and done the puzzles before i gave her the answers. SERPENT does not appear to be on the list of words, which are all five letter words. SERPENT is 7 letters. Now i cant remember what she told me was the answer and she is out nightclubbing tonight!! (joke)

Hi Tracey, just in case Korky doesn't see this. I had that puzzle here and can definitely confirm it was serpent. All the words that fitted in the grid were 5 letters, but you had green squares with dedicated letters in them, once filled out. These seven green squares spelled the word SERPENT :)
Never put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.

hi, i don't normally reply now to anyone bumping the post with a query to the posting due to my disclaimer ..

but, this time i will as the puzzle is NOT a Fit Five, it's Fit to Win, if you read the instructions on the puzzle it says..

the letters in the green boxes reading from top to bottom
will spell another word, there are 7 green boxes,
when the puzzle is complete the word spells SERPENT

    :) hth x
