Nigel o'hara!

Worst customer service I've EVER experienced anywhere.
Ordered watch 3/8/14. Chased 18/8/14. Fobbed off by email response 19/8/14. Started calling every day in past week (date now 29/8/14). Started requesting refund middle of this week. Fobbed off with "we're busy, so you'll get your refund in 7-10 days" response.
Found all stories on this website and many others.... Started to panic! Read comment on here about using credit card refund process - started that today and they've confident will get money back very quickly. Was scared by comments of others that they had to wait 28 days sometimes for refunds because of busy periods, and another, who allegedly "had to take them to court and had CCJ issued in her favour", after Nigel O'Hara failed to respond to any court processes.
Have since ordered same watch from Amazon, only marginally more expensive (about £11). I trust them completely as a retailer. I would NEVER use this company EVER again. AWFUL.
I do a lot of shopping online and have done since about 2006, or so... Worst experience of any retailer, EVER! Only thankful that the watch was over £100 required for credit card safety net to kick in, so that the refund is taken out of Nigel O'Haras hands.
I've also raised this with Northern Ireland Trading Standards and BBC Watchdog. Any further suggestions of ways to raise this matter any further will be very welcome.
MJH.”
UPDATE 28/8/15: Happy end to this: full refund eventually issued by N O'H, but only after intervention of CC company and dispute allowed by them. I completed full referral and complaint to Trading Standards. My original post of this was challenged by I allegedly made claims that they were unhappy with. I have re-phrased part of this post and removed the obviously legally shakey bit now. Hopefully they will allow negative criticism now, as people have a right to be warned of this company and my own experience. I feel strongly enough about this to have re-posted this. This was the FIRST time I've been so stung on the internet.... Thankfully, everything got resolved in the end, but not without A HUGE amount of my time WASTED. Pain in the !!!!, it was!

I have had similar experiences with Nigel O'Hara purchasing a laptop from which I am chasing a refund through my credit card company. I was wondering about contacting Watchdog. Do you think it is worthwhile ?
I would like to do something to make sure that other people do not have similar experiences to ours. If I google search a Dell laptop they come first in the search and it is my opinion that they are breaching trading standards by offering something they can't deliver.
I have contacted a number of review sites but if anyone knows of other people worth contacting I would be interested to know0 -

Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0

Are they a scam?! I ordered headphones from them 6 months ago and they never posted them and say they will refund me but they haven't yet! I've contacted citizens advice who say I could pursue them legally but I can't afford to do that! I don't know how they get away with it - who do I contact now?! help anyone!!0

If the headphones cost over £100 and you paid by credit card, consider a Section 75 claim. More info here.0 -
looks like they have now gone bust. This is the message you get when you login to your account
Dear Customer,
Due to unforeseen circumstances the JRN Retail Group, trading as Nigel O’Hara, will not be able to fulfil your order or provide you directly with a refund.
Please do not panic, as you will be able to obtain a full refund via the method of payment used to complete your purchase on our website.
Simply contact the bank or credit card used for your purchase, then ask them to initiate a chargeback for the transaction.
This process will see the money returned to you in full.
We wish to sincerely apologise for the obvious inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any further customer support or refund solutions.
Hopefully the credit card companies will refund and take the matter up with Nigel O'Hara separately?
luckily i informed my credit card company of issues just days after i ordered at the start of October. Hopefully i'll get something back.0
