Hi,
I'm not sure if I've put this in the right section so please feel free to move it accordingly.
My son is going to Canada for 6 months, skiing and is keen to find a decent insurance that doesn't cost the earth. He has tried the usual student , STA, Endsleigh but they are still pretty extortionate.
I'd be grateful for any assistance you may give.
Many thanks

Sounds risky and some sort of claim likely, would be surprised if you found 'cheap' for this trip.
Consider shortening the trip and a higher excess to reduce the premium cost.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Thanks for tip but he s unable to reduce trip as already booked and going out as Ski Instructor for the season. I wasn't necessarily after cheap , more like less than £500 ! Thanks again0

So he won't be on holiday, so would 'travel' insurance provide the cover he needs?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Surely his employer will provide insurance for a job of this sort? As richardw says, travel insurance is highly unlikely to cover it.0
