This month's competition offers the chance to experience France from a new perspective. Two readers will each win a one-week luxury boating holiday in Brittany for four people, courtesy of Le Boat, the self-drive cruising specialist. No previous boating experience is required, as the cruisers are easy to operate and Le Boat base staff will give an introductory briefing.
The two prizes include overnight Portsmouth - St Malo crossings with cabin accommodation, from Brittany Ferries. The winners will collect their self-drive cruisers at their choice of Le Boat's three bases in Brittany - at Messac, Dinan, or Nort-sur-Erdre, all of which are easily accessible by car from St Malo. They will then be free to cruise beautiful stretches of water such as the Nantes-Brest canal and moor when they want, to explore picturesque villages such as Josselin, above, and the historic sites that are within easy reach of the region's waterways.

• The two prizes are each for a one-week holiday for four people cruising from any Le Boat base in Brittany on a self-drive cruiser. Fuel, boat-damage waiver insurance, bicycle-hire and cleaning are included.
• Travel to the departure base is provided by Brittany Ferries and includes a cabin on a return overnight sailing from Portsmouth to St Malo for four people and one car.
• The prize must be taken before 31 May 2009. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
• The following applies to all competitions: calls should cost a maximum of 25p from a BT landline. Calls from other networks or mobiles may vary (average duration, one minute). Calls are handled by Telecom Express, 7 Swallow Place, London W1B 2AG. Unless otherwise stated, winners will be picked at random from all correct entries received once lines have closed and the deadline for postal entries has passed. Prizes must be taken as offered, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Entrants must be 18 or over and must not be employees (nor the family of employees) of John Brown Publishing, the John Lewis Partnership, competition sponsors or anyone professionally linked with the competition. The judges’ decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into. Only one entry is allowed per person.
