I had a free hair cut via the handbag.com website. I can honestly say it was one of the best salon experiences i have ever had. Following my treatment and cut (worth £37!) i were given a salon guide for future prices and a ten pound voucher to give to a friend for them to receive a reduction on the price of their cut, if they used the voucher i also received a ten pound thank you. I gave mine to my daughter who in turn gave hers to her best friend and by the time the chain had finished i had enough vouchers to go back and treat myself. Not sure if all the participating salons do anything like this though. Does anyone know if the above mentioned offer is available to those who have particpated in any of the hair groups previous offers as some are only honoured if you have not received anything else in the last twelve months:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

i sent off for a hairgroup haircut and got a cut at one of the top salons locally. i now get my hair done there as I was so impressed and filled one in for a friend and she got a cut at the same salon - approx £45 for a basic cut. go for it - for the price of a stamp it is worth it.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

All colleges with a 'Hairdressing and/or 'Beauty' courses, need ordinary people to train on. You will usually just pay for any products used. Some Colleges charge a small sum for for the work done.
As the person doing the work is normally a trainee, the work will take longer with regular stops for it to be checked by the lecturer, but if you have the time this is a relaxing bonus.
I have had hi-lights, re-style and blow-dry for less than £20.
In the Beauty departments they need ordinary people, with ordinary problems, as they would only ever get to practice on each other, and massaging another 18 year old student is not going to get you used to massaging overweight 40+ haggard housewives, with skin that has seen better days.
Leg waxing for less than £5, full body massages for £6, and facials that take an hour for £6 (instead of the usual £40).0 -

By hosting a 'the Body Shop at Home' (TBSAH) party, the half price sale for limited edition collections run throughout July to the 31st or until stocks run out (pomengranate, almond, apple blossom and ginger).
Every month there are different deals and exclusives that are often not available in the shops or online. E.g. the most popular body butter fragrance of coconut comes in a shimmering variety - an exclusive to TBSAH customers in July.
Hosts recieves freebies including a facial/makeover/hand massage and the chance for free and half price shopping.
If you use the recommended regime collection e.g. Aloe cleanser, toner, day cream and night cream, you can save £5 off the collection. You can save up to £10 on a regime collection. This is an offer that is available all year round - once again not found in the shops or online all year round.
TBSAH cosultants also offer tips and tricks to make your products last longer - so although the prices seem a bit steep, you aren't paying that much more in the long run compared to other brands and you're also supporting the 5 core values of the Body Shop (Support Community Trade, Defend Human Rights, Protect the Planet, Against Animal Testing and Activate Self-esteem for more info on the values etc, go to https://www.thebodyshopinternational.com)
Hope this little hippy has helped you out

Same here. I have sent off a few times to the Hair Group with various vouchers over the past 2-3 years but never got anything back, so have stopped doing it now. I can only assume there is not one near Croydon (I would travel some distance, too!).0 -
Not only do they have a sale on, with many items half price, but now you can save even more by using this voucher...
Go to https://marieclaire.ipcmediasecure.com/secure/community/competitions/4533/exclusive-savings-at-the-body-shop.html
You don't even need to fill in the form to print off the voucher!
