Cath Kidston swatches

I have just been perusing the Cath Kidston website, in a hope that one day I could buy some of the stuff, when I saw you could order swatches of the fabric. I have just ordered a swatch and it didn't ask for any payment details, nor does it have any of mine, so I presume it is free.

Not sure how big they are, but might be useful to someone.

To order a swatch of the fabric you're interested in, click on the Fabric Archive on the right-hand side of the home page, then on the fabric you'd like a swatch of. Click on the yellow "Order a swatch" button and fill in the form.

    heya,

ive done this before (not off here), and the swatch didnt come. i emailed and one was sent- it was rather small- 3x3cm had had an 's' on the back in pen-- so its only useful if you want to just match the colours for a real project, not for any crafts. be cool if they were big though hey, id of loved that!

Oh, sorry about that then :(

I've requested the swatches before and they came in a few weeks time. I really like the fabrics, even though the swatches aren't big enough but they are good enough for making clothes for my dolls or even patch works!!

I got mine today. It's about 21cm wide and 14cm high. So worth asking for maybe?

I've requested swatches a few times before, they've always arrived and are about 7 x 16cm. They have "SAMPLE" printed on them but I managed to get it off with some soap so I guess if you just stuck the samples in the wash they'd be fine. You can also get samples at your local Cath Kidston store although I don't like doing this because the people in my local shop seem to get all snooty when teenagers go in, as if they don't want you in there.

lol - i can remember the time BEFORE everyone went cath kidston crazy lol....they used to send out good sized samples with no printing on at all....i sent for loads of each fabric and used to make lavender filled heart door hangers and patchwork picture frames for presents (and myself lol).......i guess thats the only downside of sites (like this - shock horror pmsl) where people share knowledge which ends up often with the sites stopping samples etc as they are just bombarded!

i still have loadsa samples lol - i shall enjoy them even more now i know i am a rareity (or rather the samples are!!!!) :D
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

 TUT @ your local shop if that is their attitude - no need for cak-ness to teens.....you teens will be the "shoppers for kitsch homeware" of the future so best not to pi$$ you off i should have thought, lol!!!
