Plunging into the BRM prize cupboard this month, we have managed to discover a couple of Dapol's Pendolino sets. These were produced in a record 39 weeks, in time for the Warley show in 2002. Capturing the futuristic look of these units very well, the Dapol sets were a Limited Edition of 4,000, 2,000 as Red Revolution and 2,000 as Virgin Pioneer. Later, further Limited Editions were made available as City of Manchester and City of Preston.
