EBAY EMAIL SCAM - Be Careful!
**Amy**
I received an email from "ebay" this morning basically saying they tried to take money from my bank account to pay for my invoice and it didnt happen.
Title: [TKO] : your (eBay) account could be suspended.
From: aw-confirm@ebay.co.uk
The email looks very good, like an ebay one, and it asks you to check your details.
You click on the link and it takes you to what looks like the ebay homepage for you to sign into your account.
DO NOT DO IT!!
If you are not sure, open up a seperate internet browser and log into your ebay account that way. I went into mine and there was nothing about not being able to take any money from my account.
I have reported it to ebay.

You can forward suspicious emails to spoof@ebay.co.uk or spoof@paypal.co.uk to have them verified.Steve0

best policy is to never click on any links in an email. just delete them.
ebay will always address you by your name. so any emails with a general intro, ie dear sir/madam, just delete.Get some gorm.0 -
I had something very similar and wrote to Ebay for advice on help. They replied stating that the message was correct and sent by them.0

and by doing this you get a reply from them confirming if it was indeed spam, so I guess they'd also reply and say no it is legit.January - Nintendo Wii, 2 x Lush bath bombs :j
