RC2 was very good. RC3 installed yesterday and so far working really well.

What do you mean by safe?
The final FF3 release next week is likely to be little different from RC3, or it may even be the same.
RC3 is the same as RC2 unless you are on a Mac.Fx 3.0 RC3 is a new build for Mac only, picking up the fix for Bug 436575. Both Linux and Windows builds are unchanged from the RC2 that was already released.

If you are not already trying out FF3, then you may as well wait for the official release.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

If you're going to download it please wait until June 17th. thats Firefox 3 Download Day, when they're hoping to set a world record for the most software downloads in 24 hours. I think they deserve our full support for all their efforts. :T0

Yep.

Mozilla Firefox 3 Release Date Announced for Tuesday 17th June
The Mozilla Developer News weblog is carrying an announcement that the final version of Mozilla Firefox 3 will be released on Tuesday 17th June.
"After more than 34 months of active development, and with the contributions of thousands, we're proud to announce that we're ready," the message says. "It is our expectation to ship Firefox 3 this upcoming Tuesday, June 17th."
It should be noted that there is still a small chance that a show-stopper bug could delay the release. However, barring any unforeseen disasters, Firefox fans can now circle next Tuesday in their calendars as Firefox Download Day when millions of users will attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in 24 hours.
The third and final release candidate of Firefox 3 was made available earlier today with a workaround for a Mac OS X bug.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
