Aqua Credit Card -- Any One Know Anything About These ?

A friend emailed me about this new offering, i cant seem to work out who actually runs it, it says on the site issued by Halifax Plc but it would appear it is run by sav credit ltd.
Does anyone know anyone who has one of these cards, and im judging by the blurb that they are designed for people with credit "issues".

PS I forgot to add i called them up and they said you can get an application pack from the Halifax branch, i tried this locally but they had never even heard of the card :-(

This card is issued by the Halifax, I have had one for 18months and it has the master card logo accepted in all places that accept master card.
It has a very high interest rate but for people who cant get credit it has been very useful.
Not recommended if you are able to get a card from other issuers due to the rate, but ok for those who can't.
Although it is issued by Halifax you cannot pay it at the halifax branches, their staff didn't even know that the halifax had issued it.0 -
The card is issued and underwritten by HBOS. The admin and running of the accounts are done by a different company.0

i have one of these cards and agree the interest is mega high, but if you can't get any other cards and are looking to build your credit rating then it's a good starting point, i have had mine about 2 years and never had any issues with them, and they keep putting my credit limit up, it started at £250 and is now £2500, have had to cut it up to resist the urge to spend and pay the ridiculous interest!0
