The Portrait Restaurant
The National Portrait Gallery's roof-top restaurant boasts spectacular views over London. Diners can enjoy an unparalleled vista of Nelson in Trafalgar Square and across Whitehall to the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.
Operated by Searcy's, The Portrait Restaurant offers some of the finest modern British food.
BP Portrait Award
The Portrait Award, sponsored by BP, is an annual competition aimed at encouraging artists to focus upon and develop the theme of portraiture in their work.
Since 1990 it has become the foremost portrait competition of its kind. In 2007, a record 1,870 artists submitted their work and 60 paintings were featured in the exhibition.
The Prize
Win a copy of the BP Portrait Award 2008 catalogue featuring all of the selected artist's and an essay by Alexander McCall Smith. Visit the exhibition and then enjoy a meal for 2 in the Portrait Restaurant.
Competition closes on 22 June 2008
