mp3 to cda

hello everybody. i have a number of mp3 songs which i want to convert to cda format so i can play in the car. anyone know of a good freeware converter. i have seen a few on the internet which all seem to go the other way cd to mp3

    You can do this with iTunes.
    Just add the folder of mp3's to iTunes, then create your playlist of tracks you want on the disc, and click 'burn disc'.

    I believe Winamp also burns cds now (https://www.winamp.com).
    It might even do it in Windows Media Player actually..but I'm on a mac at the moment so I can't check.

    Most CD burning software will convert them, just drag them into an audio compilation and burn.

    Windows Media Player can indeed make audio CDs for you, but the precise steps you need to take differ slightly from version to version. If you need detailed instructions you'll find them here... somewhere.

    Alternatively, if you really want to use a separate utility, give Burrrn a try.

    I was assuming (and you know what they say about assumptions) that the op didn't have Nero or similar.
    You're quite right though - a lot of cd burning software will convert mp3 to cd tracks in the process.

    Well if they don't have it, they can get it here or older versions are freely available on the net.
