Pubilic / employers liability insurance help

Hope some one can help

i am starting a new business and need both public (£5m) and employers liability (£10m) insurance. I am getting some shocking quotes.

Does anyone know where i can get cheaper quotes?

I have just got some public and product liabilty form the combined market traders insurance association (cmtia) at £47.00

I was going to ask the same, I pay £74 from the national market traders federation and when I insure my van I get a £25 voucher so it makes it a little less than this. Hth.

The business is drylining / partitions and carpentry.
