If you have a slimline Playstion 2. You need to check out THIS site to see if your powerpack needs changing. Sony are recalling 3.5 million powerpacks after discovering a possible fault with them.

  It's like the Xbox power cable problem all over again. As usual companies would rather ship a product and deal with safety issues later than test it first.
