Default Office Shoes from £8.50 all-in

What's it about?

Online and offline shoe shop Office currently has a sale on its website (but sadly not in its stores) with ladies and mens shoes from £5 to £70. Yet there are many bargains still at the lower end price....

Add in the £3.50 postage and packing and you could get a decent bit of footwear for as little as £8.50.

What should I do?

For ladies and childrens' bargains just click on the "Hers" link on the Office Shoes website, then click on the "clearance from £5" link and have a browse. For the mens' bargains do the same from the "His" link. There are also reduced price shoes on the sale links on both pages.

Up the savings even more

If you're a user of cashback sites then Topcashback gives 10% back if you go to the Office website via it's site first. If you've not used cashback sites before though, then read about them in the Cashback Sites article first as you need to be aware their payments aren't always 100% guaranteed.

Enter e-mail to get it:

Many thanks to all the MoneySavers that have pointed this sale out on various different threads.

They will go perfectly with the leather mini skirt I have just ordered to wear for work next week!

I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something

Angry Grrrr Office!

Ok, so I just had two pairs of the bargain shoes already in my basket, and was off browsing for more when suddenly the sale shoes changed from 10 pages to 1 page... that was sad enough, but it got worse - I added another pair to my basket only to discover that my first two pairs had gone!! All that was left was this lovely note from Office:

"MESSAGE: SOME QUANTITIES HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED DUE TO STOCK LEVELS"

How on earth can they take my shoes off me when they're already in my basket?! Now I'm too annoyed with them to buy anything at all. Nobody should come between a girl and her bargain shoes!

I ordered a pair in the last sale and that was around Marchish...still nothing. They haven't taken any money but I wish they wouldn't keep me hanging! A nice apologetic email saying the shoes are sold out (with a discount voucher) would be fine

they are notorious for not delivering on sale stock apparently

I just bought a pair of leather knee-high boots from Office in the sale for £25 via Amazon (original price £100). They arrived and one boot was clearly used (right boot so had probably been out on the shopfloor) as it had several scuffs and creases on it, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending them back and getting another pair - they are still perfectly wearable, if nowhere near what I would call fit for sale as new condition. I contacted them to ask them what they could do to resolve this for me, and they gave me a further discount of £10, meaning total cost of £15 - not bad, and excellent customer service on their part I must say!

They are rubbish.
Last time I ordered three pairs and only one turned up.
I called the head office and spoke to someone who sounded like he has just stumbled out of bed.
If he was given an extra brain cell it would be lonely.
He told me 'it ain't in stock' and that when you order online it locates the shoes from which ever store the computer claims has it in stock.

It takes 24 hours to update the system so stock can sell on the shop floor in the meantime.
Stupid, pathetic system

I ordered two pairs of shoes off them last time they had a mega sale....NEVER AGAIN!!! One pair turned up but were no good and getting a refund for them took well over a month. The other pair were out of stock, but it took them over 2 weeks to tell me this and I had to plague them to get them to give the money (which they'd already taken) back! The customer services department were a bit useless and were a nightmare to get through to. I wouldn't recommend using them!

I ordered a pair of sandles for £10 and I'm amazed they fit me as I have trouble getting shoes to fit, so I'm well pleased!
