Competition Terms & Conditions
1.The Lucozade Alert Metro Promotion (the “Promotion”) comprises the following online general knowledge quiz and puzzle solving competitions: 60 daily competitions (each a “Daily Competition”), 12 weekly competitions (each a “Weekly Competition”) and 1 overall competition (the “Major Competition”). Each competition can be entered via the Metro website at www.metro.co.uk/alertchallenge or through Lucozade’s website at www.lucozade.com/alert
2.There is a Daily Competition each day for the duration of the promotional period and to be eligible to win the relevant daily prize the entrant must answer the daily question correctly. The winner of each Daily Competition will be selected at random from all correct entries received prior to 15.00 GMT of the relevant day. Only one entry per person per Daily Competition.
3.Each Weekly Competition will close at 15.00 GMT on the Friday of the relevant week. The winner of each Weekly Competition will be the entrant who answers the most questions correctly and in the quickest time. Only one entry per person per Weekly Competition.
4.The Major Competition shall run for the duration of the promotional period and shall close at 15.00 GMT on 1 August 2008, The prize for the Major Competition will be awarded to the entrant who answers the most questions correctly and in the quickest time. Only one entry per person for the Major Competition.
5.This promotional period will commence on 12 May 2008 and end 1 August 2008.
6.The total prize fund is £100,000 for the Competition comprises 60 prizes of £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds) for the Daily Competitions, 12 prizes of £5,000 (five thousand pounds) for the Weekly Competitions and 1 (one) prize of £25,000 (twenty five thousand pounds) for the Major Competition. Each prize winner will be notified by email within 5 working days and will receive the cash prize within 4-6 weeks. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.A list of all winners will be published at www.lucozade.com/alert
8.The promoter reserves the right to exclude entries where the name is deliberately offensive.
9.By entrance into the competition the consumer agrees to their real name and/or screen names being published in paper and online should they win.
