I'm on the look out for a new fridge freezer as mine is defrosting all over the place, no matter what I do and it's about 15 years old now anyway.
Can't be too - much - max £350 as I'm on a student loan, but is a necessity for the kids.
Have seen a lovely Bosch in the Co-Op for £359 but am now having pre-buying nerves now - lol

I have a Liebherr. Was told they're better than a Bosch, sort of a poor mans Miele. Cheapest place I could find mine was at my local Euronics centre. HTH0

The Whirlpool ARC 7470 is £430 from Powerhouse. Its great strength is that the fridge cools groceries down quickly to keep them in tip-top condition for longer – and it’s frost free, too, so there’s no bothersome defrosting. The freezer takes a while to freeze fresh food, but overall this model is still fantastic value for money.
The Bosch KGU 32123 Logixx we tested has changed its name to the Bosch KGU 32125 Logixx. The replacement model has a redesigned wine rack and salad drawer. It has everything you need from a fridge-freezer. It keeps food at consistently cool temperatures, and it’s a cinch to defrost. There’s a good set of features such as moveable shelves, a wine rack and a warning signal if the temperature inside gets too high. It’s £600 from John Lewis and Miller Brothers.
The Hotpoint FFA80P we tested has recently been renamed the Hotpoint FFA81P, £380 online. The replacement model has a few small cosmetic changes. Quiet and spacious, it’s the highest-scoring conventional model in our tests (though there are some American-style models that score more highly). The layout gives you lots of flexibility, and it’s particularly good at freezing large amounts of food quickly to preserve texture and quality
The Siemens KG36P320GB is one of the quietest fridge-freezers around. It’s more fridge than freezer – the fridge is 185 litres, the freezer 71 litres – but it’s still pretty spacious. It picked up full marks in most of our temperature tests and – despite being a little awkward to defrost – it’s a great choice. It’s £530 from Comet.
The Siemens VarioZone KG28XM40BG is the first mix-and-match fridge and freezer. You can convert its two compartments to suit your chilling and freezing needs. For example, if you’re preparing for a party, and needed to chill wine and canapés, you can change both compartments to fridge mode in time for the festivities. As a conventional fridge-freezer it’s great, scoring top marks for cooling and freezing. Its LCD display makes it simple to select the correct settings and manage the conversion process. Its main drawback is that it’s pricey, at around £900 online.0 -
I always wondered exactly who Which's target audience were when I was a subscriber. Everything they tested seem to be very expensive and out of the reach of us mere mortals.
I've got an old Electrolux (at least fifteen years old) which I think is now part of Zannussi. I'm waiting for it to pack up, so I can buy a new one. No sign yet, and I didn't even get it new. Of course now I've said that it'll pack up while I'm at work.0 -
The Bosch mentioned seems exceedingly similar to the one on the Co-Op of Q£359, right down to the moveable shelves and wine rack??
I'll have to check the model number next week.Noli nothis permittere te terere
